Learn more about AsOne's vision, mission, process, beliefs, and story.
Our mission is to transform the whole person through sustainable development.
Our vision is to see dreams realized and communities transformed
Through relationships, we restore the identity and vocation of individuals. we believe this is the way communities will be transformed.
We focus on rural and remote communities
We often talk about "seeing dreams realized"
We believe that dreams are universal but opportunity is not.
When we encounter issues of poverty we often find people who have a marred identity and vocation.
Our sustainable development programs help lift up the vulnerable in the community by providing opportunities to work, learn, and create while providing intentional mentorship and spiritual formation that help people discover their true identity as children of God.
Our work, culture, and process begins at our Uganda Base in Bugiri District. At our base we have weekly rhythms and programs that are focused on seeing lives changed. In community, we pray, read scripture, eat meals, worship, and host a variety of community activities. At our base you'll find:
1. Weekly Primary and Secondary Discipleship programs.
2. Transitional Housing
3. Staff meetings, prayer nights, Bible studies, and worship events.
4. Immersion Trips
Poverty is about relationships that don't work, that isolate, that abandon or devalue. Many remote communities lack access to relationships, basic needs, and education.
With our approach to poverty, we seek to serve the most remote communities in Uganda by partnering with community leaders to develop sustainable programs. We also leverage our team and staff to promote relationships that will transform the identity and vocation of those we work with.
